There is limited car parking available on site, and priority is given to disabled visitors.
We encourage visitors to walk or cycle whenever possible.
The site is easily accessible by public transport.

Please note that parking is free in designated areas for 4 hours and will be monitored using Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras. Those who park for over 4 hours, or outside of designated areas, will receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
There will be two electric car charging points in the main car park operated through pod POINT. This can be used through the pod POINT app where charges are displayed.
Please note that there are no cloakroom facilities available at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings. Coats and bags will need to be carried with you at all times, so it is recommended that belongings are kept to a minimum.
Turned Wood Café serves hot and cold food and beverages. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drink on site however we ask you not to eat or drink within the exhibition. Only items purchased on site can be consumed within the Café.

Public toilets are situated up one flight of stairs in the Café.
Please note that all toilets are gender neutral however individual toilet cubicles contain hand washing facilities, so your experience is private.
We have two accessible toilets. One on the ground floor in the Café and one outside, next to the Stables.
Baby changing facilities are in the accessible toilet on the ground floor in the Café.
Turned Wood Café has signed up to the Breastfeeding Welcome Scheme. If you would like to feed your baby in other public areas of the site, you are welcome to do so.
We welcome visitors with buggies and all entrances are accessible.
Buggy and pram parking is available in Turned Wood Café.
High chairs are available in the Turned Wood Café.
A microwave and bottle-warming facilities are available in the Café.
Owners are welcome to bring dogs to the Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings site, including the Café, terrace, shop and courtyard areas however we ask that they are kept on a short lead at all times. No dogs (apart from assistance dogs) are permitted into The Mill exhibition or on guided tours.
We’d very much like you and your dog to have a great and safe time when you visit, so dogs must not be tied up or left anywhere on site, particularly in vehicles in the car parks.
Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings including inside The Mill exhibition and office spaces.
We ask visitors not to smoke or vape inside any of the buildings or outside spaces at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings.
