We’ve brought Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings back to life so everyone can enjoy it.
The Mill exhibition on the ground floor of the Main Mill tells the story of this unique survivor of the Industrial Revolution, the building that changed skylines across the world forever.
You can also enjoy two tours while on site. A Behind-the-Scenes guided tour takes you on a journey around this iconic landmark of the Industrial Revolution and gives you the opportunity to dig deeper into the past, present and future of the building that changed skylines across the world forever. Behind-the-Scenes tours are available Wednesday to Sunday.
A Jubilee Tower tour offers the chance to climb to the viewing gallery at the top of the Jubilee Tower, offering fantastic views of Shrewsbury, and the surrounding countryside beyond from the eighth storey of the building. This tour is available Wednesday to Friday. It is strongly advised to book both tours in advance.
