Tickets

  • The Mill offers three different experiences, which can all be booked separately, depending on want you want to see and do.
  • Tickets for the Mill Exhibition can be purchased in person on the day, subject to availability.
  • Spaces are more limited on Behind-the-Scenes and Jubilee Tower guided tours, so if you wish to have experiences on the same day, we suggest you book your guided tour first before your book your Mill Exhibition ticket.
  • Group Visits – Discounts of 15% are available for groups of 11 or more booked two months in advance. Click here to find out more and to book a group visit.
  • A separate ticket is needed to visit the Exhibition or to go on a tour, please add tickets for both to your basket.

The Mill Exhibition

  • Learn all about Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, the grandparent of the modern skyscrapers in the interactive exhibition.
  • Dates – Wednesday to Sunday at 10am to 4pm. Mondays and Tuesdays during Shropshire school holidays.
  • Duration – We recommend at least 60 minutes for a visit but enthusiasts may need to allow extra time.
  • An interactive and informative exhibition where you can learn about this iconic building, the grandparent of the modern skyscraper.

  • Booking is recommended in busy times. Please note that when booking, available dates are shaded white. Grey dates are either unavailable or sold out. The booking page will only let you book to a total the capacity number of tickets that are available.

Behind-The-Scenes Guided Tours

  • Dates – Wednesday to Sunday at 11am.
  • Duration – 60 to 90 minutes.
  • This a walking tour with access to the upper floors of the Main Mill by foot only. Wheelchair users and people with mobility issues can enjoy 90 percent of the tour without going up the stairs.
  • Please let the guides know of any access needs on the day.
  • Suitable for all ages.
  • Half of the tour takes place in external parts of the site, so warm clothing and rain-proofing is recommended in bad weather.
  • Booking highly recommended. Please note that when booking, available dates are shaded white. Grey dates are either unavailable or sold out. The booking page will only let you book to a total the capacity number of tickets that are available.

Jubilee Tower Tours

  • Dates – Wednesday to Friday at 2pm.
  • Duration – 60 minutes.
  • Learn more about the Jubilee Tower and see the fantastic views from the very top of Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings
  • This a walking tour with access to the top of the tower by foot only up eight floors.
  • Warm clothing and rain-proofing is recommended in bad weather.
  • Booking highly recommended. Please note that when booking, available dates are shaded white. Grey dates are either unavailable or sold out. The booking page will only let you book to a total the capacity number of tickets that are available.
  • The Jubilee Tower tour will not run in extreme weather conditions including windspeeds of over 37 miles per hour.  Full refunds will be given for any cancellations due to weather conditions.
